NCI called by Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) asking to open lookout after hours and review webcam footage. Concern for missing person. Footage revealed possible sighting. CRT and Police came to lookout. Casualty was then located and taken to safety of famil Coastguard called NCI re. report of paddleboarder in difficulty. NCI confirmed had visual on only paddleboarder out, and had been tracking. Paddleboarder seen to come ashore safely, Coastguard informed. Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) called NCI re a floating object in the water. Nothing seen by NCI. CRT stood down soon afterwards. NCI observed a line of fishing floats drifting offshore. Coastguard informed. UKBF tasked, and was conned on by NCI. Cutter liaised with fishing vessel and recovered debris. Local rowing gig reported to NCI a kayaker potentially in trouble. Coastguard informed who tasked local rescue team and inshore lifeboat. Casualty was reported to be fine, no assistance required. Member of public reported to NCI a dead porpoise was on beach. Coastguard informed, local rescue team tasked. Carcase had drifted offshore so no further action. NCI observed an abandoned day boat on beach. Three persons seen interfering with vessel. Police informed, who arrived and were happy with situation. HMCG kept informed, had been aware since previous evening. Coastguard called NCI re. 2 jet skis possibly in trouble. NCI confirmed one was being towed by the other. NCI monitored until out of sight, and appeared to be heading for safety. Coastguard called NCI re. report from member of public about a swimmer who had not returned. Coastguard Rescue Team tasked, and casualty returned to shore soon afterwards, all safe. Yacht reported to Coastguard they had run out of fuel, and may not safely reach port under sail. NCI plotted position. Coastguard advised yacht to make way to safe place. No further action. Inflatable observed with two POB, possibly behaving suspiciously. Coastguard informed. Vessel then moved a short distance and stopped, then came ashore and contents of dinghy unloaded into car. NCI observed a sailing dinghy giving cause for concern, appeared beached and abandoned. Coastguard were informed, and monitoring requested. Persons then returned to dinghy, sailed off and then grounded. Crew waded ashore and recovered dinghy later. NCI informed about a paddle boarder in difficulty off pier. Visual obtained and Coastguard informed of position. Lifeboat tasked and recovered casualty. Coastguard tasked lifeboat to 2 persons who appeared stranded on a sandbank at Deben entrance. NCI provided visual support. Casualties waded ashore, and were checked over. All safe. Coastguard called NCI asking for visual on kayak drifting out to sea, 2 persons on board. Lifeboat and coastguard rescue team deployed. Intermittant visual established by NCI. Lifeboat recovered casualties safely. Coastguard called NCI re. report from public of yacht in difficulty. Vessel was already monitored by NCI, and appeared OK. Monitoring continued until lookout closed, no apparent problem. Yacht called coastguard with engine stopped, needing assistance, 5 miles off Felixstowe. NCI assisted in providing eyes on the casualty, and helped direct local lifeboat which towed the vessel to harbour Member of public informed NCI of youths on restricted part of pier, jumping into water. Coastguard informed, CRT tasked. Youths persuaded to leave pier and talk to CRT. Cabin cruiser observed grounding at entrance to River Deben, Coastguard informed, monitoring requested. CRT tasked, plus sea cadets in RIB. The RIB towed vessel off sandbank. Coastguard contacted NCI asking for visual on fishing vessel with engine failure. Affirmative. Pan Pan later issued, NCI monitored while local support vessel towed casualty to safety of harbour. Yacht grounded at Deben entrance just after high water. Fishing boats unable to help. NCI informed Coastguard who tasked lifeboat, but it could not help either. Yacht had to wait for next high tide. Windsurfer called to say a person was on beach with a back injury. Coastguard informed and tasked local rescue team. Casualty declined medical help, but accepted assistance to return home. NCI observed a speedboat aground. Coastguard informed and tasked local rescue team who stood by. No casualties but vessel ended up on rocks, recovery not possible. NCI observed a yacht aground at Deben entrance. HMCG informed, monitoring requested. ILB tasked, confirmed no damage or casualties and stood down. Vessel refloated later and carried on. NCI observed a yacht aground in Deben entrance channel. Coastguard informed, but vessel freed itself. 20 minutes later same vessel was aground again in new location. Yacht eventually refloated again and entered river, Coastguard ascertained no damage, no Coastguard called NCI re. report from member of public of paraglider possibly in trouble. Visual established, no apparent problem, Coastguard was able to view through station webcam. Coastguard called re. report of a jetski drifting loose off Bawdsey. Nothing seen by NCI on camera, Coastguard informed. Coastguard later reported local sailing club had recovered jetski. NCI observed a yacht leaving river into rough, dangerous weather as darkness fell. Coastguard informed of concern and contact attempted on Channel 16, but no reply. NCI extended watch to monitor vessel until it reached safety of harbour. Coastguard called NCI re. report of a windsurfer in difficulty. Windsurfer spotted by NCI at new location, not in difficulty. Coastguard Rescue Team informed. Lifeboat tasked as precaution. Casualty came ashore, safe and well. Coastguard tasked Last Orders lifeboat after reported concern for yacht which had been logged by NCI earlier. Lifeboat contacted craft, all OK and stood by while casualty rowed to shore. NCI monitored throughout. NCI Felixstowe observed two jetskis one towing the other. CH65 call from CRT to see if we had visual. NCI monitored until entered River Deben. NCI observed a yacht aground, two persons and a dog onboard. Coastguard informed. Two vessels attended, one local lifeboat and a fishing vessel. Fishing vessel pulled casualty into deep water. Yacht motored up river. NCI observed a yacht aground at Deben entrance. Coastguard informed. Passing vessels unable to assist. Coastguard Rescue Team deployed but yacht not in immediate danger, as Pan Pan issued. As tide came in, skipper expressed concern, vessel was being pushe NCI observed capsized dinghy in shipping channel, Coastguard informed. Pilot vessel tasked to rendezvous with lifeboat. Object identified as tender from yacht and towed to harbour. 999 call to Coastguard re. fishing vessel grounded and sinking in Deben entrance. Other vessels attached lines to stricken vessel. NCI requested to monitor. Lifeboat at scene, but returned to base. Vessel remained on its side, despite attempts to correct. NCI observed object in water, Coastguard informed. Local team tasked due to concerns due to previous day's incident (46891). Object believed to be floating weed clump in the end. NCI informed of a major search for a missing person, assistance requested. Coastguard Rescue Team, inshore and all-weather lifeboats involved after wheelchair found abandoned on prom.
